Coach Chad Eads

Picture
Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Chad participated in both high school and college football. Following the completion of his playing career in 1992 at Samford University, Coach Eads stayed on as an assistant coach for the next three seasons. His 18-year coaching career has spanned many different levels giving him a wide variety of sports facility experiences.

Chad earned his masters degree and served as a graduate assistant at the University of West Alabama. He then served for 6 years at Huffman High School in Birmingham as the offensive coordinator, offensive line coach and head baseball coach. In 2002, Coach Hurt hired him as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Clinton High in Mississippi.  Chad was also an integral part of developing the $8 million state-of-the-art facility that was built in 2007.

Coach
Eads returned home to Birmingham in 2007 to serve as the offensive line coach at Hoover High School. He continues to serve in that capacity and is proud to be a part the winning tradition at Hoover. The Hoover Bucs are the reigning 2009 Alabama Football State Champions in Class 6A!

In each of these experiences, Chad has worked closely with head coaches and athletic directors in maximizing the usage of each athletic complex he has been a part of. Sports Facility Coach was formed in order to share these experiences with others.

In 2005, the Hurt family then reported for duty at the Air Force Academy in Colorado for Pete to serve as the offensive line coach. He stayed with well-known head coach and mentor, Fisher DeBerry, until Coach DeBerry's retirement in 2006.
